I combine my background in computer science, project management and online marketing with a love for storytelling and the written word. A systems thinker and lifelong learner, I work to advance open architecture, design scalable systems, and promote independence in publishing.

I’m the founder and Principal Strategist at Storytelling Systems, where I teach content strategy and consult with companies to improve their digital experiences. I believe that human beings are at the heart of every experience, and that it’s the job of entrepreneurial leaders to use the power of story to move hearts and minds.

I'm also the author of more than ten science fiction novels under the pen name M.G. Herron.
